I am majoring in Communication Disorders in hopes to pursue a career in Speech-Language Pathology!

What is your favorite DZ Memory?

My favorite DZ memory is my bid day. When I opened my bid and saw that I would be a Delta Zeta I cried tears of joy. Running home, was a joyful feeling I’ll never forget! Delta Zeta has been home for me since that day and that joyful feeling still remains!

What is your favorite thing about DZ?

I love how hands on our philanthropy is. Being a Communication Disorders major, I have been fortunate enough to volunteer at both St. Lillian’s and LSDVI. I fell in love with our philanthropy knowing my future career in mind when I went into recruitment and truly believe God placed me right where I am supposed to be! It has been a rewarding and gratifying experience to give back to the community of hearing and speech. We are all called to help those in need and I’m so grateful to be a Delta Zeta that puts such a strong emphasis on our community in need! I have met the most genuine and kindest girls ever through Delta Zeta. They are truly my people and I know I always have a friend in DZ. I truly don’t know how I’d survive college without them. When I think of Delta Zeta, I tend to think of the Sisterhood that I have always prayed for. Having sisters of my own, I am grateful to have sorority sisters that support, motivate, and inspire me. I am thankful for the many blessings and friendships this sisterhood has given me.

What is your favorite DZ Event?

My favorite DZ event is Pink on the Green! I was fortunate to be a team captain for the St. Lillian’s team! I volunteered at the school in the Art classroom and a few of my St. Lillian’s friends were there which made it fun and special! I had the chance to meet their beautiful families. It was a day full of celebration, joy, and good vibes.

What’s on the top of your bucket list?

To travel the Holy Land!
